Starsky is arrested for gunning down a suspect after Witnesses claim that the suspect was trying to surrender... And altho he knew the charges were serious, Starsky also knew that his partner wouldn't stop searching until he found the answers to what happened that day.. But instead of any questions being answered, more arose as Hutch turned up missing without a trace. (2000 - Original Male Character)

Since Starsky was otherwise engaged, Hutch had decided to travel alone to Florida to combine vacation with a trip to visit an ailing relative... He never made it to Florida... Nearly dying in a car accident was the least of the miseries to come. He was first hiding out in, then held captive in the dangerous florida swamps by a violent drunken madman.
