  Starsky had been on the other side of the country when Hutch went missing. Now, someone was leading him on a sick cat-and-mouse game, which forced him to revisit his innermost feelings connected with past events. Starsky wouldn't rest until he'd found his partner, but soon realised that with Hutch as sacrificial goat, he had little choice but to be lured into a possible trap which could end both their lives.
